Our solid Cherry wood, farmhouse kitchen & tasting spoons are the perfect balance rigid strength and supple flexibility. Their dainty aesthetic is misleading- these spoons just get the job done without all the weighty heft!
Made to last a lifetime! Each and every spoon is carved by hand from a single, solid piece of American Black Cherry wood, and then hand sanded to a fine, smooth finish. Each spoon is then buffed and rubbed with a non-toxic, food-safe, zero VOC, hybrid mineral oil and hard wax finish. The result is the perfect kitchen utensil - a spoon that is pleasing to the touch, lightweight & easy to wield, and oh so satisfying to use for tasting.
Due to the process of carving each one by hand, each one is completely unique - no two spoons are exactly the same. You do have choices though! We offer two overall styles for the spoon head: long oval - perfect for pan frying, scraping, stirring, and tasting; or a larger round head - perfect for keeping lotsa sauce moving (not sticking), stirring, and serving, as well as acting as a smaller ladle for soups and sauces. You can also get one of each!

Care Instructions:
- Don't leave these spoons in standing water for extended periods, and NEVER wash them in the dishwasher.
- To maintain, periodically rub the spoon with your favorite, food-safe mineral oil, beeswax, or wood conditioner. You can use plant based cooking oils, but they do have a tendency to go rancid over time if left unused.
